Another successful week has come to an end. This week has seen a lot of changes made throughout all areas of the code base.
A lot of time this week was spent tidying up the GUI functions, and getting a lot of annoying bugs ironed out. The destroy code will now also destroy all child elements as expected on resource end, and child elements will be called correctly when parent events occurs. This relates to MTA's element system in which every game entity represents a place in an "element tree".
Additional vehicle fixes were introduced, including passenger to driver warp issues, boat positioning/rotation inaccuracies, blown vehicles fixes, and some upgrade compatible checks / functions. The vehicle sync is getting better and better, which is great to see.
Resource transfers were also tweaked a bit to include the ability to cancel a transfer (in case of long transfers / other errors), and a fix was put in to the resource size reporting which should make it work regardless of the server sending the data.
As some people noted in the comments of last weeks post, Mouse + Keyboard is now forced. The main focus is to remove the possibility of someone using auto-aim to target players unfairly, but as someone else mentioned our keybinds system currently does not support gamepads. This is an area we could see some time spent reworking to allow for all input devices, sometime after the first releases.
In addition to those changes, a lot of little fixes in regards to xml, playing sounds, auto-fades, and more were completed.
Overall, another good week. Keep the comments coming guys.
